Sara & Jake
Jake and Sara met through the Hinge dating app in July 2023. Their first date was at The Tributary in Golden, CO where they quickly bonded over their love of music, cats, and craft beer. In September, Jake worked up the courage to ask Sara to be his girlfriend on a hike near their first date.
In June 2025, Jake made the next big step of popping the question. In a sauna at the Oakwell Beer Spa, Jake surprised Sara by getting down on one knee and asking Sara to spend the rest of her life with him, to which she emphatically said yes. That evening the surprises continued for Sara when they showed up for a “private celebratory diner” at Maggiano’s only to be met with a table full of loving family and friends.
Through life’s hardest moments, Jake and Sara have been each other’s rock, finding strength in their shared love. They can’t wait to see what the future holds as they continue to travel the world together, marking experiences off a shared bucket list.
